Travelport Digital today announced that it has been recognised by Gartner as a “Cool Vendor”. In a May 28, 2015 report entitled “Cool Vendors in Travel and Hospitality, 2015”, Gartner analyst Venecia Liu features innovative vendors “that focus on extending value across disparate systems and processes to provide a better user experience.”
Singapore Airlines has launched an all-new mobile app for both Apple and Android smartphones, as well as for the Apple Watch. Introducing a redesigned user interface with new features, the app aims to provide a functional and seamless user experience. Features include a contextual homepage that displays the most relevant information about upcoming trips.

easyJet, Europe’s leading airline, has designed a bespoke app for the Apple Watch which will be available for the launch of the long-awaited new wearable technology on April 24. It will seamlessly connect to the easyJet app, which has been created in conjunction with easyJet’s mobile partner MTT, to provide personalised flight information and real-time views of travel information checked most frequently by passengers.
Travelport Digital today revealed the results of its latest study which examined ‘day of travel’ frustrations – what causes the most stress for travellers as they prepare for their flight, get to the airport, go through airport procedures and navigate airport terminals.
