The two companies have worked together over recent months to launch MTT’s intelligent mobile push engine, Travelport Digital Engage, within its iOS and Android apps to boost mobile engagement, mobile revenues and to improve the overall travel experience for its customers.
Travelport Digital Engage has been integrated across three of eDreams ODIGEO’s premier travel brands: eDreams, Go Voyages and Opodo, and will significantly enhance how the brands communicate with travellers. Travelport Digital Engage is a sophisticated mobile push messaging tool which allows airlines and travel companies, to send relevant and personalised notifications, alerts and mobile offers, in multiple languages, to better engage with customers. Utilising the Travelport Digital Engage intelligent rules mechanism, eDreams ODIGEO will manage end-to-end push campaigns with personalised messages to travellers based on their profile, their location and their stage of travel allowing them to connect with their travellers, in a relevant way, throughout their journey.
Travelport Digital Engage will also enable eDreams ODIGEO to respond better to its customers’ needs throughout their travel experience. Proactive, real-time notifications will keep travellers well informed about their individual travel schedule, external events and travel disruptions or delays. eDreams ODIGEO will also use Travelport Digital Engage to present relevant and timely ancillary offers that can lead to a higher mobile sale conversion rate.
