Irish Prime Minister opens new office for mobile travel tech firm MTT

Dublin, Ireland, 20 February 2014 

Mobile Travel Technologies Ltd. (MTT), the pioneering mobile solutions provider for airlines and the wider travel industry, today had its new Dublin headquarters officially opened by An Taoiseach (The Irish Prime Minister). At the opening it was announced that Travelport Digital plans to substantially increase recruitment in the coming 12 to 18 months as the company continues to grow its business worldwide with leading international travel companies. The company is currently actively recruiting in in the areas of software development, product management and sales. MTT’s new office is located in the silicon valley of Dublin, at Grand Canal, with neighbours such as Google, Facebook, twitter and a growing hub of innovative Irish technology companies.

Travelport Digital specialises in sophisticated mobile technology products for airlines and large travel companies so they can provide their customers with mobile booking, mobile check-in and the ability to manage all aspects of both personal and business travel via smartphones and tablets. MTT’s most recent contracts are with one of the largest airlines worldwide, the LATAM Airlines Group, and with one of the largest corporate travel companies worldwide, BCD Travel, both of which are multi-million euro contracts. Travelport Digital will also soon launch mobile services with a large player in the Asia Pacific travel market.

Travelport Digital was founded by the team that previously built Gradient Solutions, a leading airline internet booking engine company headquartered in Dublin, which went on to be bought by Sabre in 2000.
